Each year, PCA conducts several key fund-raising and recognition events. These events are an ideal opportunity for companies and Youth Sports Organizations to support PCA and also recognize excellence in Double-Goal Coaching and achievement as Triple-Impact Competitors
Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship Awards Ceremony Sponsored by Deloitte
In partnership with Deloitte and Thrive Foundation for Youth, PCA created the Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship Program to honor student-athletes for ethics that have impact on three levels, improving oneself, one's teammates and one's sport as a whole.
The 2009 Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship Awards Ceremony featured Master of Ceremonies Ted Robinson -- famed broadcaster of the San Francisco 49ers, Wimbledon, the Olympics and Major League Baseball -- and a special presentation by Golden State Warriors Assistant Coach Keith Smart. During the event ten Bay Area and Sacramento high school student-athletes were awarded $2,000 Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship Awards.

National Youth Sports Awards Ceremony Sponsored by Deloitte
Each spring, PCA hosts a large dinner event at Stanford University where exemplary youth and high school sports coaches from the Bay Area and Sacramento are presented with the Double-Goal Coach Award Presented by Liberty Mutual. During the event PCA also honors a nationally prominent sports figure with the Ronald L. Jensen Award for Lifetime Achievement in honor of his or her example of Double-Goal Coaching at the highest levels of sport.
This inspiring ceremony also features top athletes such as Olympic Swimming Gold Medalist and PCA National Advisory Board Member Summer Sanders, pictured here with Deloitte's Mark Edmunds at our 2009 event.
Save-the-Date: April 17, 2010 for the 2010 National Youth Sports Awards.

Wall Street Shootout
The Wall Street Shootout originated in 2006 with annual sponsorship from the NYSE/Euronext. However, PCA did not host the event in 2009 due to the market economy and we will not be running the event in 2010 either. However, PCA still receives tremendous support from NYSE/Euronext, including an annual opportunity to involve PCA supporters in The Closing Bell ceremony on the floor of the NYSE. PCA looks forward to re-instigating this fun event at the appropriate time.
