Kimberly Aigner started with Sounders FC in 2014 and was named Director of Community Outreach in 2017. Aigner oversees how Sounder FC engage and build awareness around key community initiatives and how Sounders FC serve community causes that are important where Sounders FC fans and staff live, work & play. Kimberly was instrumental in solidifying Sounders FC the first carbon neutral professional soccer club in north America and the first professional team in the US. Prior to her work in community outreach Aigner was on Sounders FC partnership marketing team where she managed the team’s Xbox jersey relationship along with healthcare and community-oriented corporate partnerships.
Before joining Sounders FC in 2014, Aigner spent several years in marketing and partnerships at the Boeing Classic golf tournament and Virginia Mason Medical Center. She has also held positions at the Prefontaine Classic, United States Tennis Association, and at the University of Oregon.
A Seattle native, Aigner has an MBA from University of Oregon’s Warsaw Sports Marketing Center and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Gonzaga University where she played on the women’s tennis team. Kimberly resides in Seattle with her husband, Andrew, and son, Oliver.
