Faith’s teacher tells us about Faith’s extraordinary ability to work with others: “As both a teacher and class sponsor, I have had the privilege of knowing and working alongside Faith Freeman for the past three years. During this time I have observed her innate ability to work with others no matter the task or personality involved. I have come to know a young woman with a work ethic, dedication, and character unlike most students her age. I have seen firsthand Faith’s aspirations for excellence not only in the classroom and on the field but in every other aspect of life as well. Faith has a natural compassion that is present in her day to day life and is evident in the volunteer work that she does both within her school and her community. Faith takes on numerous leadership roles which are all focused on volunteering to serve those around her. As a leader within her school, Faith is a member of both Class Council and Student Government where she is on the executive board. She is the chair for the class of 2018 Relay for Life team where she invests time and energy to raise money for cancer awareness. Faith is also committee chair for the non-profit Seeds of Hope club. This club is dedicated to serving those in need in her community. Through this organization, Faith has organized the Turkey Trot as well as Color Your Egg run where 100% of proceeds to go to helping the local community. In addition, Faith volunteers with community food distribution as well as with Meals on Wheels on a weekly basis. Her spirit of service and compassion continues to the athletic field where she uses her platform as a Varsity Lacrosse player to mentor and coach youth athletes not just in sport but in character as well. Faith is dedicated to her community, her sport, and her teammates. Through her actions, Faith strives to make a positive impact on all whom she encounters. A young woman of character, compassion, and dedication Faith is a qualified and deserving candidate for the Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship.”
