PCA Enters National Partnership with PONY Baseball and Softball

Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), a national non-profit developing “Better Athletes, Better People” through youth and high school sports, has entered into a national partnership with PONY Baseball and Softball, which administers leagues serving roughly 500,000 teenage baseball and softball players.

“We at PCA are very excited to start our work with PONY Baseball and Softball,” said PCA National Business Development Director Jason Sacks. “Between the live group workshops we will conduct for PONY coaches and the online content we share with each other’s audiences, we will take great strides together toward ensuring a positive, character-building baseball and softball experience for all PONY players.”

PCA will contribute articles, videos and podcasts for PONY’s use in websites, newsletters and social media, many featuring such PCA National Advisory Board Members as Dusty Baker, Bruce Bochy, Ken Eriksen, Curtis Granderson, Mallory Holtman-Fletcher, Dr. Dot Richardson and Mike White.

Similarly, PONY will contribute its educational content to PCA’s online Development ZoneTM Resource Center (www.PCADevZone.org), home to more than 1,200 free printable and audio-video resources youth and high school sports coaches, parents, athletes and administrators.

“We are very excited to partner with Positive Coaching Alliance to create a better atmosphere for our baseball and softball teams and leagues,” stated PONY President Abraham Key.

PONY and PCA have many of the same goals in mind as we focus on making the sport experience a very positive one for players, parents, families, coaches and officials.
