PCA's Expanded Impact At 2019 Triple Crown World Series Events

08.27.2019

The bases were loaded with sportsmanship at the Triple Crown World Series events in Steamboat Springs as PCA & Triple Crown Sports put a strong and consistent message out to coaches, parents, and athletes regarding positive behavior expectations on the fields and in the stands.

As teams checked in on opening day, PCA was there, side-by-side with Triple Crown, distributing Dare To Chill gifts for parents as well as information on how all involved could best Honor The Game.

PCA also presented their mission of Honoring the Game to some very appreciative officials, in their own meeting, later that afternoon.

Finally, at the opening ceremonies, before 2,000 participants, PCA was again able to shout out their message as the crowd repeated the pledge to Honor the ROOTS of the Game.

This was a fantastic experience and we applaud Triple Crown Sports World Series Baseball Director Roland Rivera and Triple Crown Sport’s dedication and commitment to creating Better Athletes and Better People through their world-class sports events.

PCA-Colorado has been working hard to respond to the terrible brawl that occurred in June at a little league game in Lakewood to spread a message of positive youth sports experiences for kids. These large scale youth baseball events were one more example of PCA-Colorado doing just that.

Below you can see a quote from Roland on the expanded impact of the partnership throughout the years, and a picture of Roland at our Dare to Chill booth!

“Our continued involvement with PCA Colorado at the Triple Crown World Series has been a reinforcement to our shared dedication to cultural change with parents and coaches around the competitive environment of our youth. Our baseball program is grateful for this partnership that supports our platform of positive parenting and coaching.”
