Late in the 2016-2017 season, the Atlanta Hawks had a win-win experience, as the team came out on top of the Phoenix Suns and 75+ area coaches attended a workshop in which they learned to focus on two goals: striving to win and teaching life lessons.

The Double-Goal Coach® workshop was standing room only for what was the first introduction to PCA for many of the coaches in attendance who were invited on behalf of the Atlanta Tip-Off Club. The workshop was part of the teams continued commitment to the community and focus on providing Atlanta youth the best possible basketball experiences on and off the court.

One of PCA’s newest trainers and Georgia native Jonathan Rivers took the coaches through the content and kept them engaged with his energy and ability to involve the audience with questions and personal stories. As we work toward an Atlanta chapter relationships like this are integral to community impact. The team was happy with the outcome and is looking forward to continued work with PCA.
