Heather Dittmer Davis was a collegiate women's soccer player at Western Carolina University. She played semi-pro for several years with the Cocoa Expos (FL) and Charlotte Lady Eagles (NC). She coached collegiately for UNC-Charlotte and St. Mary's College of CA. She was the Girls Director for the East Bay Eclipse soccer club and enjoyed the focus on person and player development through on and off the field opportunities. Heather co-founded a non-profit in Oakland, CA called Upward Roots, focusing on empowering youth through service-learning opportunities. She currently works with United Way of Metro Nashville on an after-school youth initiative focused on sport and play at Family Resource Centers. Heather lives in Nashville with her family and enjoys backpacking and playing outside.
