Pete Langenhorst

Pete is a recently retired executive from the General Motors Company, spending over 35 years with the company in many different positions. His most recent position Field Director- Sales and Service for Chevrolet for the AZ, NV and UT territory, brought him to the Valley of the Sun over 10 years ago. He worked with and coached Chevrolet dealers to be the best business people they could be, treating their customers with honesty and respect, while nurturing their employees with dignity and enthusiasm. This was Pete’s 10th move during his 35 year career that saw him in places like Wiesbaden, Germany; Toronto, Canada; Detroit, Michigan; and Los Angeles, CA. Throughout his career, Pete was always on the Marketing, Strategy and Sales/Service sides of the business, whether it was launching new vehicles nationally, creating marketing strategies for regional and local advertising, or just plain selling vehicles to dealers. His career has touched nearly all of the GM divisions including Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, GMC, Oldsmobile, Opel, GM Europe, and GM of Canada.

Following his retirement from Chevrolet in early 2017, Pete worked as the Director of Operations for The Bradley Auto Group in Lake Havasu, AZ. He oversaw five dealership operations that included two Chevrolet Dealerships, a Ford and Lincoln dealership, and a used car operation.

Pete holds a BS in Economics degree from John Carroll University, and an MBA from The Darden School at the University of Virginia. He was awarded the GM Fellowship to attend Darden. He has attended Executive programs at MIT, Northwestern and Wharton. He was a certified Brand Management Instructor at General Motors University and was a Regional Trainer for the Walt Disney Customer Service Program rolled out to all Chevrolet dealers across the country. Pete also serves as a Yellow Jacket (Life Member) on the Fiesta Bowl Committee, is an NFL Game Day Assistant (Green Hat) for the Detroit Lions, and is the Chairman of the Finance Committee at his local parish.

Pete lives in Anthem, AZ with his wife Beth. They have 3 grown children and 1 grandchild.
