Pamela Malone

Teacher and Coach, Chagrin Falls High School

Trainer - Cleveland

Pamela's love of sports developed early, as she was often called a "tomboy" in her neighborhood. Her passion continued at Mentor High School where she played field hockey and started the girls track team in which she eventually qualified for the state track meet. She attended Ohio Wesleyan University, where she was a member of numerous sports teams; field hockey, softball, cheerleading and indoor track. With a degree in Health and Physical education she landed a job at the Cleveland Clinic in the Wellness program. Ironically, taking a field hockey coaching position at a local high school, her love of encouraging youth and developing them as young adults took over and she left the Clinic to teach and coach. For the past 27 years, she has taught Health, Physical Education and Sport Management at Chagrin Falls High School, with a Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology. Her coaching resume includes being the winningest female soccer coach in the State of Ohio with 300+ victories, also the first female coach in the state to reach that milestone. Her coaching career also includes a soccer state championship.
