Chapter Board - Cleveland
Jeff Nischwitz is the Founder and President of The Nischwitz Group, a speaking and coaching firm that helps people and organizations shift their leadership, enhance engagement and accelerate impact (personally and professional). Jeff himself is an international inspirational speaker on the topics of leadership, team engagement, navigating change, accountability and achieving your whole other level. As a personal transformation coach, Jeff works with his clients on shifting their perspectives, understanding their obstacles, and helping them to create their desired outcomes. Prior to founding The Nischwitz Group, Jeff was a successful lawyer in Cleveland including founding and leading his own entrepreneurial law firm.
Jeff is well known in the business community as a passionate and innovative leader who thrives on building relationships and connecting people with the people and resources they need in order to achieve their objectives. This has included Jeff’s business development work with several northeast Ohio professional services businesses, including CBIZ.
Jeff has a B.S. in Business Management from Ohio Northern University, where he also was a four-year letterman in baseball as a pitcher for the Polar Bears. He also has a Juris Doctor degree from Ohio State University College of Law. Jeff’s lifelong love affair with baseball (and sports) began as the son of former major league pitcher, Ron Nischwitz. Ron is also the long-time and hall of fame head coach of the Wright State University baseball team. Jeff also spent many years coaching his two sons in baseball, basketball and soccer, and was well known as a coach who helped his players not only become better athletes, but better people. Jeff brings this passion for empowering and equipping youth with life skills to his role on the PCA Board.
Jeff has previously been involved on the board of other youth focused community organizations in the northeast Ohio area, including Cleveland Baseball Federation, E City, Youth Opportunities Unlimited and Imagine Schools. Jeff has also received many awards and recognitions for his contributions and success, including COSE’s Ten Under Ten Award and the Achievement in Excellence Award from the National Sales & Marketing Executives of Akron-Canton.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Jeff is an avid read, enjoys history and still plays baseball in the Cleveland Adult Hardball league. Jeff’s interest in history includes a particular interest in Civil War history, and he and his Dad (Ron) take an annual trip together to explore Civil War battlefield parks and locations around the country. He also enjoys traveling for his business and for personal experiences, including taking regular mystery trips (destination unknown prior to arrival at the airport) and he recently traveled to Spain to walk 200 miles on the Camino de Santiago.
Jeff has to sons (Eric – 27 and Kyle – 24) who are out on their own. Jeff lives in Avon Lake and is a big fan of Broadway musicals, including some of his favorites (Hamilton, RENT, If / Then, Wicked and Les Miserables).
