PCA Partners With Ohio University To Support Master's Programs

01.08.2019

Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) — a national non-profit developing BETTER ATHLETES, BETTER PEOPLE through youth and high school sports — has partnered with Ohio University to bring awareness to their online Master of Coaching Education and online Master of Athletic Administration programs.  Ohio University houses one of the first academic programs in the nation to offer post-graduate educational options in the field of sports administration.

Through this collaboration PCA partners will have the opportunity to learn more about the Ohio University online master’s degree programs and further their learning as a coach and/or administrator. PCA’s support of Ohio University’s Coaching Education and Athletic Administration programs reinforces their focus of preparing interscholastic athletic directors and coaches to nurture student-athletes and gain leadership skills to better support sports teams.

“Our partnership with Positive Coaching Alliance is exciting and something that we look forward to growing for our students,” said Dr. Stephen Harvey, Program Coordinator for Ohio University’s online Master of Coaching Education.

"We're excited to partner with Ohio University and support their online Master of Coaching Education and Master of Athletic Administration programs," said Jason Sacks, PCA's VP of Business Development and Philanthropy.  “PCA stresses the importance of coaches, athletes, parents and administrators to be continual learners, so partnering with Ohio University is a great fit. We look forward to providing resources to the Ohio University students and working to grow our partnership in the years to come.”

PCA will feature Ohio University’s online Master of Coaching Education and online Master of Athletic Administration programs through PCA’s High School Coach Talking Points email series. PCA will also be engaging professors through the Ask PCA Blog and through the Development Zone Resource Center.
