PCA Partners With Skyhawks Sports Academy For Coach Education

11.29.2018

Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) — a national non-profit developing Better Athletes, Better People through youth and high school sports — has partnered with Skyhawks Sports Academy to bring coach education and training to all Skyhawks coaches. Skyhawks has been dedicated to providing every child the joy of playing sports and learning the skills of sport for over 40 years.

Through this collaboration Skyhawks coaches will complete PCA's online Double-Goal Coach® training and will have access to the ongoing support and tools they need to help youth campers improve in sports, and more importantly, in life.

“Skyhawks Sports Academy’s purpose is to teach life skills through sports,” said Chris Stiles, Vice President of Business Development for Skyhawks. “The partnership with PCA enhances Skyhawks’ purpose while providing our coaching staff with the tools and resources to make a positive difference in the lives of hundreds of thousands of children."

"We're excited to partner with Skyhawks Sports Academy and their coaches to not only provide opportunities for kids to play sports, but to give them a positive experience while learning these skills," said Jason Sacks, PCA's VP of Business Development and Philanthropy. "We look forward to supporting the Skyhawks coaches in their positive coaching journey."

Skyhawks and PCA believe their work together in these communities can benefit all Skyhawks programming not only by providing training and resources to help coaches improve, but by helping to create healthier, happier future leaders.
