Hosted by MBX, Beyond The Classroom, at Mira Costa High School, this event was part of the South bay Families Connected Speaker Series in partnership with Beach Cities Heath District and Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach Unified School Districts.
After the panel event parents, coaches and athletes were able to stay for a PCA Workshop and discussion about the tools PCA teaches to keep kids playing sports and having fun. PCA trainers Jeaney Garcia and Chris Stretch facilitated the Workshops. Ellen Robbins, PCA-LA Board Chair who is also on the CHLA Board of Trustees and the BCHD Task Force thanked the attendees which numbered over 250.
A PCA Workshop for parents at MBMS will be scheduled in the near future. Video of the panel event content is below.
