Glen Matsumoto is a Partner with Actis. Actis is a leading investor in growth markets across Asia, Africa and Latin America with $6.3 billion of assets under management. Actis invests to capitalize on two key trends: the expanding middle class and the related demand for physical and social infrastructure.
Previously, Glen headed the New York City Office of EQT Partners and was one of the founding partners for the firm’s infrastructure business line. EQT’s infrastructure funds focus on acquiring and developing infrastructure companies in Northern Europe and North America.
Prior to EQT, Glen held positions with Macquarie, GE Capital and ABB. From 1994-1995, Glen held an appointed position at the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Prior to that, Glen was with Mission Energy Company, a global independent power company.
Glen has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University. Glen swam competitively throughout high school and for the Rice University men’s swimming team, serving as team captain in his senior year.
