MIAMI, FL – Mighty Kicks and Positive Coaching Alliance are excited to announce a national partnership! This partnership will improve the education and training of the Mighty Kicks coaches and lead to a more positive experience for all participants. In addition to building upon the proven Mighty Kicks Curriculum, PCA will be providing their content and resources to help the Mighty Kicks families and franchisees deliver the most positive impact.
Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) develops BETTER ATHLETES, BETTER PEOPLE through resources for youth sports coaches, parents, administrators and athletes. PCA gains support from a National Advisory Board, including National Spokesperson and 11-time NBA Champion Coach Phil Jackson, and many other top coaches, athletes, organization leaders and academics who share PCA’s mission. PCA resources, which have reached more than 8.6 million youth, strive to transform youth sports into a Development Zone® culture, where the goal is to develop Better Athletes, Better People to positively impact the community.
All Mighty Kicks franchisees and coaches will be required to complete the PCA “Double-Goal Coach: Coaching For Winning & Life Lessons” workshop. Adding this PCA certification on top of the intensive Curriculum and Training required by Mighty Kicks Franchising will add to a more educated coach and higher quality program.
"I couldn’t be more excited about this partnership! It is a natural fit because of our shared mission and their focus on total child development and life skills, " said Luke Vercollone, Pro Soccer Player and President of Mighty Kicks Franchising.
"We are honored to add value to the awesome Mighty Kicks Program. Impacting youth in the right way from the start is so critical, and it's great to partner with an organization doing just that! " said Taylor Lydon, Business Development Associate, Positive Coaching Alliance.
